Q & A | Team Rider - Jeremiah Watson
1. How has growing up in Atlantic City influenced your skating?
Growing up in AC influenced my skating because I only got to see a few skaters, and I got really excited seeing them because there wasn't much of a scene, so it made finding new spots in the city a challenge to practice.
2. Favorite memory with skating?
My favorite memory of skateboarding was celebrating my first “National Go Skateboarding Day” with SkateAC
3. You are very big into fitness, does this help your skating?
At first no it did not help, but as I learned to align the two and was consistent with both the balance got better so it started to help.
4. Would you rather have a profession in skating or fitness? Is there a way you’re hoping to combine both?
If I had to chose I would go skateboarding because it’s where I have my most fun. Fitness is too but the hype is more with skating for me, but I plan to pursue both anyways.
5. How have you grown as a person with skating in your life?
Skateboarding has shown me that sometimes it just may be next try, and that enduring what ever endeavor you find yourself in you have to stay committed.
6. Who are some of your biggest influences?
I don’t really have any but I can always appreciate someone in the pursuit of greatness.
7. How has skating helped develop your social media presence?
It helped with showing that not just talent gets you social credit but that creativity and hard work will be the ultimatum.
8. Favorite aspect of making content with skating?
Just the creative side of pulling up to spot and letting your ideas take lead and watching how skating correlates with most content creating.
9. Dream brand to skate for one day?
Brands are ever changing but if I had to choose one I'd go Primitive because P-Rod (Paul Rodriguez) is one of my favorites skaters and the anime tie in is tough.
10. Give any shoutouts here!
Shout out to my boy Yadiel who put me on my first board which opened me up to most of skateboarding in my city and on that note would also love to shoutout SkateAC/Jay Klotz for continuing to look over me and grow the skate community and my experience with skateboarding. Thank you to all the homies who skated and pushed me from day one to now!
